About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive calls for service, and dispatch security-related personnel to routine incidents, priority situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and response activity in dispatch systems and/or logs, helping to support accurate reporting and timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or local first responders during incidents, medical situations, and other critical events, sharing updates and information as needed.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying post assignments, and communicating changes in coverage around the business and perimeter.
