About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Coordinator in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to security-related communications and alarms from various locations within the commercial real estate property.
  • Dispatch security personnel to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatched personnel.
  • Coordinate with on-site staff and emergency services as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out dispatch duties.
  • Provide customer service by addressing tenant and visitor concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining awareness of site activities through surveillance and communication systems.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by providing timely and clear information during incidents.
