Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, prioritize requests, and coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems, sharing timely updates with site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources during medical, operational, and other security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while maintaining awareness of dispatch activity and supporting security-related operations across the location.
