Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, prioritize requests, and coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
- Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems, sharing timely updates with site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources during medical, operational, and other security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while maintaining awareness of dispatch activity and supporting security-related operations across the location.
