As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and support on site teams with timely updates and incident documentation. You will help maintain a visible, professional presence through strong customer service and clear communication, while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Dispatch and coordinate response to alarms, calls for service, and other incidents using radios, phones, and/or computer systems, maintaining a calm, problem-solving approach.
- Monitor CCTV, intrusion and fire panels, and other monitoring systems, escalating security-related concerns per post orders.
- Maintain accurate shift documentation including incident reports, dispatch logs, key and/or badge activity, and notifications to site leadership as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate contacts.
