As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Center in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will play a vital role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and requests for assistance within the location.
- Maintain detailed logs of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities, ensuring accurate reporting for the government facility.
- Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, responding to inquiries and requests from staff and visitors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular status checks with on-site personnel and relay critical information to appropriate parties.
- Assist in the implementation of emergency response activities according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment at the location.
