Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual events, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, and access points, with duties that may vary based on location conditions.
