About The Position

As a Security Officer - Defense Facility Rounds in LIMA, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
