About The Position

As a Security Officer - Day Shift Patrols in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity within the tech, media, and telecom location.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and staff while performing patrols.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and client representatives.
Assist in managing access control by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols.
