As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

CPR and/or First Aid may be completed post hire and is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site directives.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the building perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, verifying authorization, and/or following visitor management procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems as assigned and report irregular activity per site protocol.
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs with accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Provide directions and assistance to customers and staff, helping to maintain orderly entry, lobby, and/or parking area operations.
Support emergency procedures such as fire, medical, weather, and/or evacuation events by notifying appropriate contacts and following post orders.
Observe and report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site leadership for timely resolution.
Communicate professionally with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when requested by site management and in accordance with post orders.
