As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to access concerns and alarms. You will document observations, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. You will support a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions and timely notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incident responses using required logs and/or electronic systems common in technology and telecommunications locations.
