As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting access control and visitor badge activity. You will be a calm, customer-focused presence, using clear communication and basic technology to document observations. Requirements

Be 21+ Years of Age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and authorized entry areas, observe visitor traffic, and report irregularities according to post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, and disturbances, and request additional assistance when needed.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and complete detailed documentation in daily activity reports and incident reports.
Support building operations by reporting maintenance and life system concerns such as lighting outages, unsecured doors, and unusual equipment conditions through the proper reporting channels.
Assist with de-escalation of conflicts using customer service techniques while maintaining a professional presence.
Operate security-related equipment as directed by site procedures, which may include radios, CCTV monitoring systems, access control systems, and electronic reporting tools.
Coordinate with on-site personnel and/or local responders during emergency response activities, providing clear updates and following site-specific instructions.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for patrol frequencies, reporting requirements, and communication standards while working in varying environments and conditions.
