As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering excellent customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities as required.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings in a technology-focused environment, adapting to changing conditions as required by the post.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms and other equipment.
