As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping protect critical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points at a technology-focused location; report unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor processes, verify identification and/or credentials, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and service providers per post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or the client representative.
