About The Position

As a Security Officer - Customer Service Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the food and beverage production location.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor and employee movement as needed.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders when required.
