Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and reflect our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, lobbies, data-sensitive areas, and other assigned locations within a technology-focused environment, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with visitor processing, badge verification, and routine observations of equipment rooms, office areas, and shared spaces in accordance with site policies.
