As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and site staff while providing strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to on-site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access issues.
• Monitor access points, observe for unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor directions and resident requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
