As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a distinguished cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Assist visitors and staff with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and guidelines during daily duties and/or emergency situations.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observed activities as required by the site.
