Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener in cruise operations, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, contributing to a secure environment for guests and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals, belongings, and/or luggage prior to boarding or entering restricted areas in accordance with established protocols for cruise operations.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of passengers, crew, and visitors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for cruise operation environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the cruise operation location and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
