As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated cruise operations areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the cruise operations location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities in assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters, observations, and incidents.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
