Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor visitor and employee access, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor access control points by checking credentials, screening visitors and/or deliveries, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, entry areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting maintenance or access issues, and assisting staff and visitors with directions and site protocols.
