As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong, visible presence. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to Allied Universal management and/or on-site contacts as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as necessary.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with property management and/or Allied Universal supervisors to address client needs and uphold site-specific expectations.
