As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, communicate clearly with building teams, and document observations and/or concerns. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency services and/or site management when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, document observations, and communicate unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports, maintain a professional presence, and support building operations by providing directions and general assistance when appropriate.
