As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, and you will assist with access control, visitor management, and responding to routine inquiries. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises and maintaining visitor logs as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with property management and/or Allied Universal team members to report security-related concerns or unusual activity.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unwanted behavior.
  • Answer questions and provide general assistance to visitors and tenants, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
