About The Position

As a Security Officer - CRE Building Patrols in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the property, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Assist with controlling access to the premises and monitor entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with property management staff and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns at the location.
