As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-activity government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver standout customer service to travelers, staff, and partners. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to identify suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Control access at designated posts by checking identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and assisting with badging and/or visitor processing in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disruptive behavior, alarms, and suspicious packages, and coordinate with site management and public agencies as directed.
Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
