Security Officer - Corporate Realty Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Post in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points while delivering outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to alarms and/or unusual activity as part of a team that values integrity. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, checking authorization as required by post orders, and directing visitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations per site requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and notify Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as required.
