About The Position

As a Security Officer - Medical Corporate Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency responders while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor security-related systems and points of entry, assist with visitor direction and/or access verification, and report maintenance or environmental concerns observed during rounds.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
