As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or have a college degree.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access through designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing keys and/or access badges as directed, and maintaining orderly lobby and reception area flow when assigned.
  • Complete routine reports and detailed incident documentation, monitor cameras and/or building systems when assigned, and communicate notable activity to supervisors and on-site stakeholders.
