As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate office location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related concerns through strong observation and reporting. You will assist tenants and visitors with a professional, customer-focused approach, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to incidents with integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors at a commercial office location by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures, including assisting with directions and general inquiries.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, lobbies, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity through patrol observations and/or monitoring systems, reporting suspicious or unusual behavior according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
