About The Position

As a Security Officer - Corporate Park Patrol in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic media and production location, completing routine rounds, checking access points, responding to alarms, and reporting unusual activity. You will stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, to help identify unusual activity, hazards and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required and/or directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports and/or shift handoff notes in accordance with site requirements.
