About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Lobby Reception in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related communications, and help to deter incidents through a professional presence. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will deliver reliable service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, logging entries, and directing guests in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Support a chemical and petrochemical location by observing for unusual activity, reporting hazards or policy violations, and documenting security-related events and/or visitor interactions.
  • Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, coordinate with site contacts, and maintain accurate front desk records, reports, and/or logs.
