Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and document observations with clear communication. You will also assist tenants and visitors with customer service while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possessing a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, access control issues, and disputes, and notify management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verify authorization, and assist with credential checks, deliveries, and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnovers, and support property management with security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.
