About The Position

As a Security Officer - Evening Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location as an unarmed patrol officer on a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, assist with access points and badge checks, document activities, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, office areas, loading docks, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and support authorized entry by checking identification, logging visitors, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the proper channels.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and assist with security-related investigations as needed.
