As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding quickly to situations, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited actions.
  • Support law enforcement and emergency response personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the property to help to deter issues and promote a sense of security for visitors and staff.
