Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, assist employees and visitors, and document observations using site systems. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology and communications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, common spaces, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter routes as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization where required, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and help to deter unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence and timely reporting.
