As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage entry points and visitor flow, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and monitor security-related activity at key access areas. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by screening visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment details, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests and vendors to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, alarms, and security-related systems, and report irregular activity according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, corridors, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points as permitted, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
