Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting an education location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate officer response, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will track incidents in computer-based systems, share timely updates by radio and phone, and help maintain a visible, service-focused presence. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have CPR certification, preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to campus staff, students, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities from a dispatch post.
• Receive and prioritize calls for service, dispatch officers and/or campus resources, and relay clear instructions via phone, radio, and/or computer-aided systems.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, access control notifications, and other security-related systems, documenting activity and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to supervisors, site representatives, and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, maintaining accurate records and supporting follow-up communication as needed.
