As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, in a caring culture that puts people first. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and lobby or common areas, greet visitors, confirm authorization as required, and help route employees, guests, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and policy concerns.
• Complete reports and maintain logs related to patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
