Job Description As a Security Officer - Condominium Complex Patrol in La Jolla, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols and mobile rounds as a driving post, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and support tenants, guests, and property teams with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and loading or service areas as assigned, verifying authorized access and directing visitors to the proper destinations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public services as needed.
• Complete timely patrol logs and incident reports, communicate notable observations to site management, and support security-related operations during special events and/or deliveries.
