As a Security Officer Concierge in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a residential location, helping manage access, greet residents and guests, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, uses technology confidently, and values teamwork, reliability, and integrity while creating a positive first impression each day.

Requirements

  • Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitors, managing guest check-in and/or sign-in processes, and communicating with authorized personnel regarding arrivals.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting security-related matters as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide directions and/or information while helping to support orderly lobby and reception area operations.
  • Observe activity at the front desk and surrounding entry area, report unusual behavior or maintenance concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and established procedures.
