Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe customer and visitor activity, report concerns, and support access control practices as directed by site procedures.
• Complete assigned reports and communicate notable incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to supervisors and site contacts in a timely manner.
