As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will greet guests and tenants, manage access and visitor logs, monitor cameras and alarm systems, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication. You will help to support a welcoming environment by documenting activity, sharing timely updates with onsite teams, and offering customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, innovation, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or employees at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Control access by greeting entrants, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to appropriate mall or retail locations.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and front desk communication channels, and report unusual activity and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed written reports and maintain front desk logs of visitor activity, incidents, and security-related service requests.
