As a Security Officer - Community in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while using teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach to create a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Requirements

• Possess a guard card.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily observations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
