As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe and report activity, assist with access control and customer questions, and communicate clearly with airport personnel and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing credentials and/or authorized entry methods, reporting unusual activity and policy violations to designated contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting events.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
