Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Security experience of at least 1 year is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and/or exit procedures for the location.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities while maintaining professionalism in a healthcare environment.
