Requirements

Security experience of at least 1 year is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and/or exit procedures for the location.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities while maintaining professionalism in a healthcare environment.
