Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor access control points, verify identification and credentials, authorize entry for approved visitors and personnel, and document arrivals, departures, and/or denied access activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and access control events, and follow established protocols for key control, restricted areas, and visitor processing.
