As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols with a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to reports, and support guests and tenants with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, gates, and/or key entry areas; verify authorization when required and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and/or property damage reports.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations in written and/or electronic reports, and promptly communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
