As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, fire alarms, and reports of suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Control access to the property by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors and vendors to appropriate areas.
Monitor CCTV, intrusion and fire panels, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions to property management and/or emergency responders.
Provide visible presence and customer assistance in lobbies and common areas, including answering questions, giving directions, and helping to manage lines and foot traffic during busy periods.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and tenant or visitor concerns in daily activity reports and incident reports, and notify site leadership and/or property management of notable events.
Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs, contractor access, and deliveries by following site procedures and maintaining appropriate logs.
Help to maintain order by communicating expectations, de-escalating conflicts when possible, and requesting additional assistance when needed.
Perform perimeter checks for open doors, unsecured gates, malfunctioning lights, and other hazards, and report maintenance needs through site channels.
