About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Kihei, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will support tenants and visitors, while your communication skills will help address concerns promptly. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual observations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency personnel as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities for recordkeeping and follow-up.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing guidance during unexpected events.
Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to occupants.
