Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Officer in Wayne, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and support property protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patrols, incidents, and all security-related activities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and property staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
